Maxwell is a one or two year old, 45 Lbs. Red Heeler mix who absolutely loves attention and belly rubs. He is a medium energy dog who plays well with others when he has been properly introduced. He is house trained and let's himself out through the doggie door and is learning his basic commands such as sit and come. Max also gets along with horses! He has been to the barn and a horse show and was just a bit excited.

Remus is energetic. When he's excited, he literally starts bouncing! But when you take him for a walk or a car ride, he mellows out and is happy to lie around the house. He likes to chew on his rawhide bones and be around his human. He even puts up with his foster dressing him up!

He is comfortable with children and gets really excited about meeting other dogs. Remus is currently in obedience training to deal with separation anxiety, but he's progressing well. He is loyal, sweet, and playful. If you're looking for a lovable puppy in an adult body, Remus is the dog for you...

Penny is a shy but sweet dog. She is not destructive, so she has already been able to leave her out of her crate when left alone!  She is very loving and loves to be with/held by people any time she can, so she is working on some independence/confidence training with her foster. She needs to be introduced to new environments and people slowly, but once she's there, she's happy to do almost anything.

Delores is a delightful older dog who is fully house and crate trained, doesn't bark or fuss, and gets along with other animals. She likes wandering around her foster's back yard, even with all the snow. Her favorite activity is resting between the couch and the wood stove, where she can watch a little television while she gets her head rubbed.
