Jack-Jack is currently house trained and walks well on a leash. Given time, he would be a great off leash pup! Jack came to us with a damaged ear (the left ear is missing part of the rostral pinna with scarring at the base of the ear) and eye (Phthisis bulbi of the left eye). However both have been checked out by a veterinarian and do not require further medical treatment. Because he has had a rough life up to this point, he is very timid of people at first meeting. However, once he gets to know you, he turns into a completely different dog! He likes to lay on the couch and get belly rubs, and sometimes sneaks up for a cuddle or two. He loves playing with other pups and does great with his foster brother! He is curious about cats and sometimes likes to chase them (playfully, never meanly) but he leaves them alone once corrected. He is a good guard dog and barks to alert when people enter the house, but is quiet other than that. Being timid, it has been hard to teach him sit and stay, but he is finally enjoying treats, so hopefully that training comes soon! He loves to wiggle his butt and is always super excited to see you!
